In a science laboratory orbiting 250 miles above Earth and traveling at 17,500 mph… astronauts and cosmonauts are working and living aboard the International Space Station. To ensure astronauts’ safety and scientific progress, NASA must continue to monitor its aging infrastructure. As part of our oversight, we examined NASA’s initiatives to maintain this research facility.

April 06, 2020 On February 27, 2020, a Houston federal grand jury returned a two-count indictment against Summer Worden, Wichita, Kansas, for making false statements to federal authorities from NASA’s Office of Inspector General and the Federal Trade Commission. Worden is expected to appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dena H. Palermo on April 13.
