Assistant Inspector General for Investigations

Michael S. Graham (Acting)

Michael S. Graham is the Acting Assistant Inspector General for Investigations at NASA OIG where he leads the organization’s investigative disciplines, which include Fraud and Cyber Investigations, Digital Forensics, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Investigative Analysis. 

His service within the Inspector General community spans various leadership roles across three different Inspector General Offices. The U.S. Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General (OIG), the Social Security Administration OIG, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s OIG.

Mr. Graham began his law enforcement career as a military special agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI), where he worked general crimes investigations and later specialized in cyber intrusion investigations.

After concluding his active military service, Mr. Graham continued his service as a civilian special agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Michael Graham holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology. Mr. Graham also holds a SANS Institute Global Information Assurance Certification in Incident Handling. He also has previously held certifications as a Department of Defense (DoD) Certified Forensic Examiner and DoD Certified Computer Crime Investigator.
