Federal Jury Finds Scientist Guilty of Defrauding NASA, Navy, and Missile Defense Agency (PR-2018-A)

Akbar Fard (53, formerly of Tampa) was found guilty of wire fraud in connection with defrauding NASA, the U.S. Navy, and the Missile Defense Agency out of approximately $2.1 million in federal funds intended for research.
