Guide for Office of Inspector General Freedom of Information Act Requests
While we coordinate with the main NASA Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Office and follow the Agency’s reporting requirements, requests for Office of Inspector General (OIG) documents are processed independently by the OIG. Requests to the OIG can be made by mail, email, or via the online form (see below).
Please note: FOIA requests must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. If you do not know the exact title of the document you are seeking, please provide a description of the document. The more information you provide about the document (such as author or date), the more expeditiously your request can be processed.
