Robert H. Steinau
Mr. Steinau has over 25 years of distinguished federal law enforcement experience. He has been with the NASA OIG since 2009 where he has been both the Special Agent in Charge of the Cyber Crimes Division as well as the Resident Agent in Charge of the Cyber Crimes Division, Eastern Region.
Mr. Steinau began his law enforcement career in 1999 with the United States Secret Service where he specialized in fraud investigations and participated in high-profile protection assignments. Mr. Steinau’s last assignment prior to joining NASA OIG was as an agent assigned to the Vice-Presidential Protective Division.
Mr. Steinau served in the United States Marine Corps and holds an accounting degree from the University of Cincinnati.
